Youth pastor charged with sexual assault in California

People are not born evil. Most people initially intend to do good. However, many times these people lose their way and end up following their carnal urges. It turns out one former youth pastor may have found himself in this situation and is now facing sexual assault charges in California.

The man was recently fired from his church after he was arrested on criminal charges. The 38-year-old suspect is now facing multiple sexual assault charges. The authorities were prompted to arrest the man after several women accused the man of rape. Authorities arrested the former youth pastor during a traffic stop after an investigation, which lasted several weeks and included interviews with his alleged victims.

The investigation began when an alleged woman victim called the sheriff's department and claimed that the suspect had assaulted her while he was a youth pastor at a local church. The police then contacted several other alleged victims who claim the man also assaulted them. The alleged victims claim that the sexual assaults occurred inside of the church or on church property. The assaults also happened during overseas trips, according to the women accusing the man of wrongdoing.

On the other hand, the suspect also has the right to defend himself against the sexual assault charges in the court of law in California. However, he will have to carefully scrutinize the evidence and testimony against him in order to reveal holes in the prosecution's legal arguments. This will require knowledge of the criminal laws being used to prosecute the defendant. Also, familiarity with the inner workings of the court system will be essential.
